Vincent + Alexis | Robert Treman State Park

Vinny & Alexis are welcoming baby Sophia in May and as you can see from their session, they are super happy about it! When we showed up for our session at Robert Treman State Park we were met with 40 degree weather (seasonable for upstate NY in February), and zero sunshine. But we had a clear and mostly safe path to the beautiful lower falls so that's exactly where we headed. And then, about 20 minutes in it starts to rain. Then it starts to REALLY rain. Alexis and Vinny were troopers though and held out until we decided that the rain wasn't going to make any of us sick and ended the session on with some awesome images and wet clothes. The only less than stellar part of our shoot together, was after we all got in our cars and started to drive away, the clouds parted and the sun was literally beaming. That's okay though, we got our shots and the rain may have won this time but just wait until Sophia is born in sunshine-y May!
